TGW Studio lead a brand refresh and website redesign for Highland Planning, an urban planning firm that collaborates with municipalities, government agencies, developers, the community, and other stakeholders to help shape and enhance the built environment in the Rochester NY area and beyond.
The Commissary of Western NY serves aspiring food entrepreneurs from BIPOC, immigrant, low-income, and other marginalized communities who often face barriers to starting and growing businesses. Many possess rich culinary skills but lack access to workforce education, training, commercial kitchen space, and business networks. TGW Studio worked with the Commissary to engage with the community and build a marketing strategy to increase brand awareness. From web design and social impact report development to tailored educational and workshop materials, TGW help refine Commissary’s offerings to those just starting their workforce journey.
TGW partnered with Ontario County to promote their programs and several coalitions. Through compelling creative, paid media, website development and more, we focused on empowering their community work in wellness, education, and many other community initiatives. Getting information into the right folks’ hands was a critical component. Communications strategy centered around their critical coalitions: Suicide Prevention, Substance Abuse, and Veteran’s Coalitions.
TGW developed a simple campaign message to spark a community conversation around wellness, mental and behavioral health that inspires Ontario County community members in need to talk about their challenges and access supports. With new web creation and a robust digital campaign, TGW Studio was able to speak to underserved populations, veterans, LGBTQ+ community members and other Ontario County community members.
TGW Studio partnered with the Auburn Industrial Development Authority (AIDA) in New York State to craft a compelling place-based brand that highlights the charm and historical roots of Auburn, New York. Through a thorough understanding of Auburn’s unique economical attributes, we worked to develop a brand identity making the local community proud and potential investors and businesses looking to take root.
TGW Studio partnered with Causewave, and Monroe County to redesign and rebrand the H2O Hero logo, and develop cohesive signage for the Greater Rochester area. The updated logo reflects a more modern day approach, thoughtful to representation and the community the coalition serves. The creative process was deeply rooted in understanding the initiative’s inclusive, community-driven mission while maintaining brand recognition and encouraging local water stewardship.
TogetherNow builds technology for good, helping communities reimagine health, education, and human services with equity and people at the center. TGW Studio and TogetherNow’s strategic partnership includes supporting their public launch, web development, communications strategy, and creative storytelling together to put human-centered design into action, highlight representation, and amplify impact. Much of New York state is at an inflection point when it comes to poverty and understanding what it actually takes to foster change. Western NY is no exception, and the RMAPINY team is bringing to light the impacts of poverty across our community so we may continue to move in a positive direction.
Our long standing, strategic partnership includes showcasing their momentum within community, encouraging greater involvement and ultimately changing the lives of those experiencing poverty. This recent body of work was visualized through the development of their Unity Agenda, which is their strategic plan to educate and share with the region the concept and needed steps of Upward Mobility. TGW Studio is proud to work alongside this important community initiative.
TGW Studio led a comprehensive brand refresh in partnership with the organization, “Rochester Education and Development for Youth, Inc.” (READY) to increase brand presence and raise brand awareness to potential donors and institutional partners about the organization’s dedication to quality education for youth. TGW Studio also refined READY’s digital presence with a fresh approach, improving copy and content placement to better convey READY’s goals and needs, as well as improving SEO. To elevate the overall experience, the team built a new site, ensuring improved functionality for stakeholders and potential funders.
When the Women’s Foundation of Genesee Valley (WFGV) appointed their new director, Krystle Ellis, it ignited a new journey. With an emphasis on bettering the lives of women and girls in the Rochester community, TGW Studio had the opportunity to refresh and refocus the foundation’s brand, mission, and vision through inventive photography and videography.
